La Petite Suisse is a beautiful walk which is right on our doorstep, where the region can be discovered with its stunning, picturesque scenery, tranquillity and
peaceful surroundings. There are many fresh water rivers and lakes to paddle in and refresh sore feet or alternatively for fishing.
There are many places where you can see local nature, wonderful birds such as Golden Oriels, Cranes, Hoopoes and Buzzards. Within 5 minutes drive is the Vallée des Cerfs, Deer farm where you can have a guided tour, taking in not only the deer but also many other farm animals - lambs in early spring, ducklings, chicks and many wild animals such as red squirrels, crickets, swifts and swallows. Hacks out on horseback are another way that the countryside can be enjoyed at the deer farm. Locally produced products can also be purchased.
Surprisingly, there is a Bison farm within 20 minutes drive and jeep rides can be taken here to admire these huge and wonderful beasts.
